The cuisine at Kō restaurant in Wailea is inspired by the people of Maui. Award winning chef, Tylun Pang prepares authentic Hawaiian, Chinese, Filipino, Portuguese, Korean, and Japanese with a contemporary twist. The fine dining menu includes island family recipes that have been passed down for generations and are made with the freshest ingredients from Maui’s farmers, fishermen and ranchers.

March Winemakers Pairings:
Kō is proud to offer Winemakers Pairings, a prix fixe three-course menu comprised of Executive Chef Tylun Pang’s favorite dishes, paired with three stand-out wines. March will feature a glass of 2012 Mer Soleil “Silver” Chardonnay, followed by a 2011 Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon and finishing with a 2012 Caymus Conundrum Proprietary White Blend. The menu will begin with Kō’s popular Portuguese Bean Soup, followed by Chinese style Rack of Lamb served with Scallion Ginger Mashed Potatoes and Hoisin Demi Glaze. The three course dinner will conclude with a Caramelized Pineapple Buttermilk Cake, made with Maui Gold pineapple.
Saint Patrick’s Day: Monday, March 17
This St Patty’s Day, indulge in Irish favorites with a Hawaiian flair, at Kō. Look for a corned beef sandwich on rye with house-made Bikini Blonde beer mustard and pineapple coleslaw, Polynesian corned beef Lau Lau with coconut milk, and a traditional corned beef and cabbage. Treat yourself to two special Irish desserts, a Guinness Float with a scoop of locally made coconut gelato or a Chocolate Trio with a Bailey’s pot de crème, mint macaroons, and a shamrock white chocolate covered strawberry.

Keiki (Children) Dining Program
The Fairmont Kea Lani is proud to offer family travel activities including a Keiki (Children) Dining Program. Not only does Kō restaurant offer kid friendly cuisine, but children five years and under eat for free when ordering off the keiki menu when accompanied by an adult. The program includes sodas, juice, or milk. The keiki menu is also available for children ages 6 through 12 years or they may order from any regular dining menu in these locations for ½ off of regular menu pricing.
